NAGBABALA ang Department of Health (DOH) sa publiko laban sa mga nanghihingi ng donasyon sa online gamit ang pangalan umano ng ilang mga opisyal ng ahensya.

Ang babala ng DOH ay matapos makatanggap ng report na ilang indibidwal ang nag-message sa isang miyembro ng House of Representatives at humihingi ng donasyon.

“In line with the foregoing, the DOH would like to notify everyone concerned that neither the undersigned [Health Secretary Teodoro Herbosa[ nor the rest of his staff have engaged in any form of solicitation of donations for outreach activities and will not tolerate such alleged illegal actions,” sabi ng DOH.

“As he is fully committed to upholding the integrity and in maintaining the respect accorded to such public office, as well as the trust of the Filipino people.”

Pinaalalahanan din ang publiko na mag-ingat sa pakikipag-usap sa accounts na nagpapanggap na mga ahensya at opisyal ng gobyerno at manatiling mapagbantay at tiyaking ang impormasyong natatanggap ay mula sa lehitimong sources.
